Recording
Only silence is recorded
Cannot hear anything during recording
Recording is distorted
Recording sounds thin, hollow, or phase cancelled
Recording contains stutters or defects not in the original
Volume is not loud enough or is too loud
Volume level is reset every time recording starts
Your sound card driver is defective. Update the driver or contact the manufacturer to fix the problem.
To work around the problem, start recording first, then adjust the volume levels.
Recording stops suddenly or is too short
Recording is too fast or too slow
Quality is poor or only one channel is recorded
24 bit quality is selected, but GoldWave shows 16 bit in status bar
An error occurs
